"GRATITUDE"
I am grateful that I found this on Craigslist, August 25, 2010
I'm thankful for my life
for my healthy body
for all my senses
for the trees that give us oxygen
for the water
that we couldn't live without
for the earth
for the animals that give their life for us to eat
for the plants that give their life for us to eat
for my relatives
for people who give of
themselves to help the next several generations..
for good teachers, for good counselors, for good doctors, for
good healers
for people who are patient, for people who are kind, for people who are humble
for all
the good books that teach us how to live, that make us laugh, that make us feel
for all the good films that entertain
us,
for music/ art that inspires us,
for all the philosophers, thinkers, and artists who care about
the human condition and ask questions..
for people who care about people, for people who have a passion for eradicating
poverty, who have a passion to end wars,
for people who have a passion to cultivate peace..
for people
who listen
for people who rarely complain and take action
for people whose actions harm none.
for free will and having a choice to do good.
I am thankful for my wonderful Mom and Dad.
They worked really hard to take care of all of me and raise me well. They are amazing and I am so happy I was born into their
family.
I am grateful for everything that they taught me.
I am so thankful I live with a wonderful roomate. She's
kind, considerate and loving and when we're together, we have the best conversations about life, religion, philosophy, science,
politics, fitness snd laugh our butts off because we're both silly sometimes. She's taught me to be even more self-less and
how to weave spontaneous random acts of kindness into everyday life.

to receive a healthy salary and I love what I do as well as the people with whom I work. I like having to stay on the cutting

us to spend lots of time together and travel and share unique experiences, learning from our travels.

his donations. They are truly amazing and selfless people.

years, so I can appreciate the sound of each crashing wave with earnest appreciation.

decided to make the "strand". Exercising on it, playing on it, walking on it, has brought me some wonderful memories
over the years.

in the sand with kids of our family, to play beach volleyball, frisbee, to run on the beach. To take pics of friends, family
and sunsets....to enjoy concerts on the sand. The beach is an AMAZING natural resource.
I am so grateful for all
the trees, grass, flowers and plants in this city.

herbs. They bring me so much delight and happiness!!
I am so grateful for all the friends and families who have beautiful,
sweet dogs, cats, rabbits and birds that I get to pet and enjoy on a regular basis, without having my own.

ears, organs, brain and smile!!
