If a farmer saw
black spots on the leaves of his corn crop...
Would
he run around the corn field cutting the spots out of the leaves with a sharp knife?
Of course not. Even if he could succeed in cutting out all the spots, by the next day, they would be back on other
parts of the leaves and there would be twice as many as the day before (not to mention that his corn would most likely die
anyway from all the damage caused by the "surgical procedures" he performed on the leaves).
Would he take a space-age ray gun and shoot each of the spots point blank with
radiation?
I highly doubt it, although our food industry (and government)
is pushing to allow food irradiation to be standard practice.
One of the primary differences between conventional and alternative medicine is in how cancer is defined.
Conventional doctors see a malignant growth in the body and call that the cancer. Consequently, their treatments consist primarily
of attacks against the tumor. Their preferred choices are surgery (cut out the tumor), radiation (burn the tumor), or chemotherapy
(poison the tumor). If the tumor is removed or even reduced in this fashion, the doctor pronounces that the therapy is a success,
and we often hear such reassuring statements as "We got it all." All-too-often, however, the malignancy returns
either to the same location or spreads to another, and another, and yet another. At that point, we are told that the cancer
has returned, and the attack against the new tumors is repeated as before.
By contrast, practitioners
of alternative medicine do not consider the tumor to be the cancer, but merely the symptom of the cancer.
They are more concerned with what caused the tumor to grow in the first place.
They reason that it is more logical to fix the cause of the tumors than to attack the tumors themselves. If they can accomplish
that, then the malignancies will stop growing, become harmless lumps, and eventually be re-absorbed and discarded by the body.
The typical treatment of cancer includes surgery, chemotherapy (the use
of drugs), and radiation. Believe it or not, these treatments have been statistically proven to be WORSE than doing nothing
at all. While a tumor may be physically removed by surgery, poisoned by chemotherapy or destroyed by radiation, ABSOLUTELY
NOTHING is done to address the original cause.
A more reasonable therapy
would include addressing the nutritional, toxic, life-style, stress, environmental, and/or emotional causes of each individual's
situation in order to provide lasting and permanent health.
Ignorant
practitioners view cancer as the tumor, whereas wise doctors see the tumor as merely the symptom of the causes that manifest
as improper cellular function commonly referred to as cancer. Wise doctors are more interested in what caused the cancer to
appear in the first place.
Those in conventional medicine believe that anything that removes or reduces the tumor
is good, even if it weakens tor destroys the body in the process. Since practitioners of alternative medicine focus on the
cause of the tumor, they believe that anything which helps improve the body's ability to naturally eliminate the tumor is
good.
The immune system is the body's front-line defense against cancer. Although there have been some notable
improvements in chemotherapy and radiation technologies, these approaches impact the immune system and many believe they can
actually cause cancer if one does not detoxify the body and rebuild the immune system after these approaches are used. Wiser
approaches help to strengthen the immune system in order to help the body to overcome cancer.
Practitioners of
conventional medicine are in the majority, and patients rarely informed of alternative therapies.
Some of the alternative therapies
that are used include:
Nutrition - to boost the immune system, to
increase natural mechanisms for eliminating the tumor, and to prevent reoccurrences. Typically this includes nutritional
supplements, intravenous protocols (such as high doses of vitamin C, anti-oxidants, and immune support nutrients), and diet
(such as frequent raw vegetable juices, whole grains, legumes and elimination of foods which feed cancer and weaken the immune
system).
Oxygenation
– to bring vital energy to the cells, reverse tumor growth and facilitate the elimination of pathogens (fungi, bacteria
and viruses) which may be weakening the immune system. This may take the form of ozone therapy, intravenous hydrogen
peroxide therapy, MMS therapy, deep breathing exercises, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, etc.
Detoxification – to eliminate substances which may be burdening
the immune system, compromising metabolic processes and blocking energy flow (e.g. heavy metals, pesticides, environmental
toxins, and metabolic wastes). This may take the form of herbal and nutritional products that open up the elimination
channels (liver, kidney, colon, and urinary system), colonics, detoxification diets, and IV chelation protocols.
Tumor Targeting – to aggressively
reduce the tumor size. This may take the form of cancer vaccines, hyperthermia, or chemotherapy alternatives such as
ukrain, amygdalin, mistletoe, and carnivora. Metabolic enzymes can be used to facilitate the breakdown of the
protective coating around cancer cells and to support healthy metabolic processes.
Life Style Change and Stress Control – to assist the individual in making
the necessary changes in their life structure and belief system to minimize stress. Biofeedback is a wonderful method to assist
the individual in this.
and MOST IMPORTANTLY...
Emotional Healing – to eliminate toxic emotions and memories somatized in the body. This may take
the form of counseling, emotional release therapies, deep breathing, reiki, homeopathy, or bodywork.
Spiritual Releasement and Re-Connection – to re-connect
the individual with their purpose for being alive and to strengthen their will to live. This may take the form of prayer,
meditation, spiritual counseling, regression therapy and, most amazingly, SPIRITUAL RELEASEMENT therapy.
